Copra Product Description
Copra is not just coconut meat. Copra is dried coconut meat that has been processed, normally split into halves from its shell. Indonesia has been one of the largest coconut growing industries in the world, and now has been continuously harvested, and produced throughout the year. Copra is a residue from coconut oil extraction; it is commonly used as cattle, poultry, and animal feeder.
We have been shipping, and exporting Copra for years, and we strive to always bring the best quality you can get with all variants of coconut products. We choose the best, and high-quality coconut, fully mature coconuts then harvested from local farmers in Indonesia. Coconuts copra are then removed from the shell and then dried out using sun drying, or oven drying until there is less and minimal moisture content.
The dried-out copra was then produced to extract coconut oil from the copra. 70% of the extracted copra became coconut oil, and then the residue of 30% becomes copra meal. The copra meal is then cooked to achieve browning in the copra, inspected by our quality checker, then ready to be shipped.
Directions Of Use
Copra can be used as an animal feeder or mixed in with another feeder such as corn to enhance its nutrition as well as save money. Please take note that when starting to use copra as a feeder, start by slowly introducing copra, and incorporating copra into animal meals. Mixed it with other meals, to make sure animals adjusted to the taste, then slowly increased more and more copra into mixed diets.
Copra then can be ground into powder, dried, and mixed in with animal feeds or made into copra meal cake as a horse supplement and snacks.
