Even the waste from processed palm oil is also used for use in daily activities. Who would have thought that coconut fiber could be used for many things that you may not have known?
Generally, coco fiber is used as fertilizer or planting medium for plants. The benefits of coco fiber can accelerate the process of plant growth and can strengthen plants.
Uses Of Coco Fiber
In addition to being used as a planting medium, here are some uses of coco fiber:
- Fuel
In Indonesia, the use of coco fiber has been carried out for a long time. People used to use coconut shells and coir for fuel before the existence of stoves.
However, in this modern era, coco fiber grade A is used in a more modern way following technological developments. Coco fiber grade A is now used as fuel for making charcoal briquettes.
Because the use of coir fiber is more environmentally friendly because the emissions produced are not like other fuels.
- Growing Media
Coco fiber has a neutral pH level so it is very suitable as a planting medium and can make plants grow well. Coco fiber grade A is very suitable for use if you want to grow vegetables and flowers.
Vegetable and flower plants can grow better if you use a neutral planting medium. Only need to use coconut fiber and no other mixtures.
